Fruity Loops - noob question

I've got the demo version and it looks pretty cool. But, how can I get more instrument sounds? The drum sounds are those techno sounding drums. How can I get some realistic sounds?

I use one and only one fruity loops instrument for all my sounds - the sampler. I think its as simple as Insert Instrument->Sampler, then there's a button on the instrument that lets you search for and load a file. Fruity Loops comes with a small selection, including some more realistic ones. From there, find out what formats the sampler will support, and go hunting online.

Alright, I lied, I do use their kick drum synth, too. But mostly just th sampler...

Try doing a search on NSkit7. Pretty good sounding kit for free.

Go here and sniff around a little. You'll probably find a whole bunch of stuff for free. Look for the Voxengo Boogiex - it's a free amp sim plugin.
