Why do you people keep feeding the children?

There is no Walters.

No walters?, impossible! I'm starting to think that walters has been the single most influential audio bbs user in the history of the audio bbs. Who has impacted all of the audio related forums more than anyone else of the last 5 years? Harvey Gerst, I don't think so, walters! Who is the most recognizable name in pro audio today, walters! Who is the most sought after producer/engineer of a generation? That may be stretching it a bit.

verse
walters is you.
walters is me.
walters is everywhere,
we used to be.

chorus
Who's got the Frippertronics?
Who's got the BPM's?
Who'll ride the plate tektoniks?
Who's weapon is his pen?

verse
Doppler automation
Sound on sound, layered multitrack
We live in walters nation
Coloured preamps in his rack.............. :D

Not unless it also does multitrack layering of sound-on-sound, unsquashed without smearing using Daisy Chain Bussing, advanced BPM techniques and morphing automation?

Bruce, you also forgot how creamy and milky it needs to be.

The children are starving. Even walters deserves to eat.

More Lyrics

(Sung to that tune 'Woman' by John Lennon)

Walters... I hardly can mention
My mixed emotions over all of your questions

And Walters... I can hardly explain
The mental trauma, how you drive me insane
Although I keep on trying again and again and again....

I loooove you.... Well well.... now and forever....
I looooove youuu... Well well.... do da do doo dooooo

(key change)

Walters... I hope that you understand
And that you don't ask me that question again.

Walters... I can hardly express..
How much I wonder if your questions are tests...
And EZ Willis, his essays are the beeeessstt....

You get the idea.

My friend told me i just need LONG delay time to get

sound on sound

most of my delay guitar pedals the DELAY TIME is not

long enough to get sound on sound this is my problem

to do sound on sound in real time

The looper pedals like the line 6 is a looper its not based

on DELAY TIME i need a delay unit that has really long delay

because i think after like 4 seconds its consider to be

sound on sound and not Echo or delay any more

this is what i been trying to say

How do i get "sound on sound" from a boss delay or a electro harmonix
memory man or any delay pedal the regeneration knob is just positive feedback but i would like to get "sound on sound" what do i need to do for this?

Do i need a mixer or something?

Yes, walters. Mixer or something is what exactly need you. Fix all tomorrow. Sleepy bye I go now. Massive alchy I had. No work somemore. Bye Bye.

Take a look at the Electro Harmonix 16 second delay reissue, which is actually a 4 minute delay. It mighty suit your needs.

BTW a lot of the early Fripp stuff that sounds like ebow is just feed back.

No, you do not need a mixer. The willisworks Sound on Sound Simulator for DAW V1.02 will do exactly what you are looking to do. It will give you sound, then more sound for you to multitrack layer delay on top of first sound layer which will give the sound on sound you are so desperately looking for.

Will 4 minute produce a sound on sound loop?

why does it have to take a really long delay to produce a sound on sound

overdubbing effect?

Once you go out of like 3 seconds its not delay or echo anymore its sound

on sound right?

wally, it took me 2 minutes to find the Boss Sound on Sound pedal with ez to use dial rotary delay knobbies for multitrack sound on sound doppler effect flippertronic super reverb pro BPM's delay effect for DAW. Remember wally, Google is your friend.

4 min= 240 seconds
240 seconds divided by 16 seconds = 15 BPM for sound on sound pro audio DAW reverb delay multitracks.

:o More interesting speil about nothing... walters keeps us entertained :)

Walters....I see you received a detailed answer on this on Harmony-Central yesterday. I also read that you understood and LIKED the answer. And in the process, there were actually a few of us who got a link to a cool new free piece of software that many of us can use.

Now, you OWE it to these people here to not leave this thread dangling. Do something different...give BACK that information you learned yesterday and tell these folks here about it. That'll be a first, eh?

And also, you OWE it to these people to use the english term that was finally dredged out of your posts...."you were looking for a software Echoplex that could do in excess of a minute of recording". That was what you were looking for.

It's like that one guy said.."walters, if you would've said echoplex looping in the first place, we all could have helped you sooner. If you say sound-on-sound one more time, I'm gonna reach through this computer and slap you".

So Walters....give the information that you got at HarmonyCentral to these people here. In plain english. No gibberish.
