Hi, I just got a Breedlove acoustic guitar off ebay and I love the guitar...but there's some fret buzz going on the low E & A strings, the low E string buzzes all the way up the neck, and the A string buzzes up to the 8th fret. The frets look good with no wear.

I know nothing about setting up an acoustic. Is there anything I can do? or should I take it to a luthier and have set up? or would a simple change of strings do?

You can try changing strings to a lighter gauge. You may have to have the nut or bridge replaced. Try raising the buzzing strings with a small piece of paper folded underneath them at the nut. I don't know anything about neck tension on accoustic guitars though.

It could be that you have a high fret around nine or ten possibly higher up. That would normally result in buzzing on more of the strings unless the high spot is local to the E and A.. More likely is that you need to have the action set correctly and the neck relief checked.

If I was to guess I would say you need to raise the action on the E and A and/or increase the neck relief. It is not the nut.
