I'm working on putting together a CD of three different drum kits to sell, but as a tester, here's one of the kits, a trashy old Premier kit with ancient heads and cheap cymbals ;-).
Here's a sample of how they sound, I threw this together really quickly in leafdrums:
Raw loop
And the same loop, with the CamelCrusher "Subtle Master" preset:
Mastered
I split the samples into two zip files:
Kick and Toms
Snare, Hi-hats, Crash, Ride
Hope someone finds them useful! Any feedback would be great.

sound pretty good i gotta say.

i wouldnt call it mastered though. more like, 'loudened and expanded" :)

True dat. I got lazy. I gots me more demo clips that I made for fun, I'll put them up later.
EDIT:
Here's more clips.
Two
Three

they sound pretty cool, you should do a lot more similar velocity samples for hihat and ride. That would make them sound a whole lot better.

Dude! I played around wih these samples and I totally dig the tom sounds. I tellya the guys from toontrack should get around to recording some trashy kits man. If you did more hits on the cymbals and drums i think i would buy your CD.

you did a great job!

Pardon my ignorance...how do you incorporate just individual hits on the drum, say the snare hit, into a song? Do you make each hit into a loop of combined hits?

What's the go?

I'm thinking about buying Drums on Demand of BFD soon, when I get some money.

Anyway, so how do you use these samples?

I use drumsite. you can checkit out here

Thanks! I forgot I'd put this up! I'm working on a new sample pack for my Yamaha set now, I'll put that up when it's done.
The reason I only did a few velocities is because I originally intended this to be used in industrial-type stuff, probably with lots of distortion overtop. But if you like it that much, I might have to go back and re-do it more in depth! Thanks!

I'll sure check out the new ones you put up. This will not be my primary drum samples :) but when I do a song that requires a live rehersal kinda sound I'll surely be using them.

Here's a little clip I recorded on the fly to check how they will sound in a mix:

never mind my shitty playing, the samples are cool.

Wow, great new samples! Excellent work!

Monkey Allen - I personally like Acoustica Beatcraft for drum programming, very cheap, very easy, and fairly flexible (provided you have good samples and know how to milk em just right.)

Thanks again Zacanger for all the cool hits!

Newbie showing Gratitude.

:D Dude thanks for the kits they sound really good! :D
