Anyone know a free and good software drum machine that I can use with KTDrumTrigger? I've never used KT but I want to try it, but I guess I need a drum machine which I don't have. I'm using OSX and Cubase LE. If anyone can help me out i'd greatly appreciate it. =]

Take care,
Adam.

Here's the instructions for using the KTDrum Trigger with Cubase --- LINK.

The terms 'free' and 'good' are usually mutually exclusive for anything Macintosh, but you may have some luck doing a search here.

Well I found the LM-9 drum machine or whatever in Cubase so i'm alright with not finding a drum machine. I tried KVRAudio, but no luck. Also, after following the directions for Cubase, I can get it to trigger, but it's not working right. I put KTDrumTrigger on the Kick track, put the LM-9 VSTi on the Midi track, put the input of the Midi track to KTDrumTrigger, and the output to VSTi, set the channel to 10.. After that, it did trigger the kick track.. but played the snare on the drum machine, not the kick. If you can help me with that I would be extremely appreciative. Thanks man.

Take care,
Adam.

It's just a matter of getting the right midi note from the KT Drum Trigger to the LM9.

You're very close -- too close for me to accurately guide you there. Just play around with the received notes on the LM9 until you get it working. If that doesn't bear fruit try rearranging the note numbers the KT Drum Trigger sends out.
