I was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me some good deals on some gear.

I'm thinking maybe some nicer microphones . . . an a/d converter . . . a good preamp :). Oh, and one of those UAD cards would be good, too.

Oh, and I was wondering if we could just wave the actual cost of it all for now (?)

I just kinda' want to have some or all of the above mentioned stuff without actually having to go through all the added trouble of exchanging monetary values and so on and so forth.

It's really a pretty simple proposal. You have gear. You give it to Chessrock.

Let me know if this works for you. Thanks!

It would probably be a lot easier if I just sent you my credit card. Shipping costs would be less and you could pick out exactly what you want at the store. What's your address?

LOL GREAT COMMENT, HEY CHESS LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIND ANY TAKERS LOL, IM KINDA BROKE TO.

I have a broken snare drum stand that you can have. The guy at the pawn shop didn't want it.

I just restrung my guitar and was going to throw away the old strings. Maybe you want them? You gotta pay shipping and handling though :)

I have a broken pick I'll throw in with the used strings.

ladies and gentlemen,
thank you very much! this has been without a doubt, the most amusing post i've ever read on this BBS.

send you my credit card, lol...

i got a bad case of writers block! you can have that for free!
credit card, rotflmao

Tell you what, Chess. My only requirement is that you use the stuff I send you for all your recording, every day. With a Behrenger board, some Radio Shack vocal mics, my Crate MX15R amp, and a Chinese Squier tele with the warped neck, I know you'll just rock. My Tascam 4 tracker will capture all your fat tracks, on the days when the capstain drive works. For mastering, I've got a Soundblaster 1.0 that should meet all your needs, with some old Realistic cables, so you can listen to the radio while you work.
Furthermore, I agree to hang onto that nasty old mic cabinet for you, so you're not tempted to use those evil, pricey mics. As for all that nasty other gear you don't need, sell it to me for $100 and buy Riley something pretty.-Richie

I have a BBTTE that somebody threw at me. It has some bent corners on the rack ears (where it went into my thick skull), but it is an AWESOME piece of gear. Makes your mixes sound like the VOICE OF GOD, no kidding! Since I lost my memory from the accident, I can no longer record. My loss will be your gain--and there is PLENTY of gain available with this sweet box!

I know you would die to get a hold of my Tapco 6100rb mixer, But I just can't part with it. I will how ever send you my ??1968?? EV two way mono crossover:) I am too frightened to plug it in.
