If you're feeling adventerous, look up cdrecord. We use it here at work on our high-end Unix systems (HP-UX) and we recently ported it over to Windows NT 4.0. You'll need to know a bit about ISO images, .dlls, and shell scripting, but once you get it working, it works great!

Fireburner is still free (and it will convert mp3 to CD audio)

Winxp has burning built into it (both in mplayer and the shell extension)

There's a deepburner pro and deepburner free.

I wasn't able to get that cdrdao program to work on my mac. Anybody know of any other freeware Mac OSX burners?

If you were replying to my message, I was talking about the "dbpoweramp" software being shareware, not the deepburner stuff, some of which (as you pointed out) *is* freeware ...which I also downloaded to try out, of course! ;)

If you weren't replying to my message, ...just ignore this post. :o
