anybody here familiar with creative/ cambridge fps 2000? - well you know the test that you can do from the mixer box to check they are all working - it doesn't seem to work any more. The test used to work fine - all four speakers answering roll call loud and clear. then one day there was no sound at all even the 'wheeeeep' sound of dialog boxes opening and closing - all known sound had disappeared. I checked everything - Windows mixer, creative mixer, plugs switches - it all seemed right. I closed the sequencer and opened it again. the sound came back. But the test never worked after that. Only the front left speaker announces itself now. But when I play a track - all speakers work - except one or two of them seem kinda quieter now. The settings have never been changed (I haven't had them long) and the wires/connections seem ok. What could it be then? Malgo
