It looks like its got a Texas Instruments chipset, which I recall is correct for getting the most compatibility across the board in terms of interfaces. I'd say you are safe :)

I know nothing about the card, but I use my Firepod with an old firewire card, and it works flawlessly for me. Have fun...:D

You must be going nuts having the Firepod and no card yet

Let us know how it goes !

You are SO right! So, I plugged my Ric into ch. 1, headphone output to the powered monitors first, then the Peavey SP3s.

Damn that signal is CLEAN.

Installed the card, then went to Presonus web and updated to 2.14 and recorded 2 bass, 1 guitar track! Crystal clear, 1.2ms latency, but have to figure out how to get the tracks in sync?

I might just be able to figure this bitch out and quit asking all these questions:cool::D;)

Thanks again, guys!!

I got another one.....has anybody tried to run their old tapes through Reaper?

I've got analog tracks from 2-40 yrs ago that I can build on. Just curious?;)

It sounds like you recorded a few tracks, I assume you were recording one while playing back another ?

They should be audibly aligned, meaning you shouldn't be able to hear the
1.2ms latency, if thats what your talking about.
I never mess with mine but maybe I should, I'd like to know more about this :)

Everything I've brought in to Reaper so far has been digital, I haven't played one of my old tapes in a long time.
I'm trying to get more and more familiar with Reaper myself, I really like it so far.

All in all, It sounds like the card install and interface install went good, glad to hear it, sometimes they can be a little finiky and you feel like getting out the hammer to make it right :D
