Fostex X 55

I have bought a Fostex X 55 & was wondering if it's good for recording. I'm planing to record everything myself, besides some guitar.

well, your recording medium (cassette tape) is less than satisfactory. cassettes only have a very limited dynamic range, and are subject to analogue artifacts like tape hiss.


it'll do the job of recording sounds, but quality wise, i wouldn't expect too much from it..
