Fostex powered Monitor help!

I was wondering what type of speaker cable will work best for a pair of Fostex PMO.5 powered monitors?

I just picked up a used pair, and they didn't come with any cable. I'm using an older analog Tascam 312 mixer. Also, is there a specific gauge wire that will work better? sorry for the dumb question

If going a small reasonable distance, the guage of your cable won't matter much. Just get cables that match your mixer's physical outputs to your powered speakers physical input. Don't spend a ton on cables, but definately don't buy any junk cables you'll have to replace.

So, regular speaker cable will work best, like 14 or 16 guage?

I wasnt planning on going that far, probably about 10-12 feet.
