How do you get a sig & avatar?

whats THE CAVE

I found out about sigs and avatars through playing about with the FAQs and User CP function. The cave I wandered into by accident......It's the kind of place my Mum used to warn me about and my Dad didn't want me spending my money in !

Yeah, the sigs and avatar are under the "user cp" at the upper left.
There may be a minimum post count ya have to have before you're given access. Not sure.

The Cave is a nest of vipers. A place of heresy and vindictive slamming. Abusive turdballs and foul language abound.
A biker bar that allows girls with goatees.

*Beware the cave*----but it can be fun at times.

and as DB has pointed out there may be a minimum post count for your avatar (you can import your own or use the ones in stock if you find one that you like) and sig...once you hit 50 post you will notice that if anyone has given you green (or red) reputation that will show up.

It's not too soon to start dishing out advice to other newbies... seen it before!

Teh Cave is actually at its most entertaining when people start going at each other about something or other... there've been some beauties over the years...

Even in the last month, the saga of the banning of SirN, the relentless YouTube posting of CTON, and the various minor spats between Legion & Doc, Doc and EZ, 60's Guy and most other people, and the irreverance of Gerg have been immense fun to watch..

Wait a minute!!! Are you talking about the amount of rep power showing up?? When I first got here I asked about that and they told me I had to read every page of the "Rep Thread"! Are you saying all I really had to do was get to 50 posts? I feel so used.

You're doing OK on the rep front for someone who's only been here for 3 and a half minutes!

Hey Betty, a great way to increase your post count is to go through the MP3 clinic and listen to other contributions and leave your comments for them. You don't have to be an expert or be able to give advice, but just a simple, "I like it" or "I don't like it and here's why", helps a lot.

I'm laughing because I GENUINELY do not care about having a sig or avatar. I just asked because I noticed I didn't have one. But having one can come in it's own time, honestly.
