Anyone have any experience with either of these companies? I'm leaning towards Fortess because they are physically closer to me and it appears Delta is in Canada and border issues are always annoying.

Are we talking cassette or open reel tape?

Huh!

From Fortress that's $0.63 per tape......no case or label of course...wonder how they compare with branded tape stock like Maxel XL-II's or TDK SM-60's because if they're decent then it may address all the gnashing of teeth over the increasing difficulty in finding chrome tape...

Can anybody conjecture what the quality may be like?

I purchased a batch of 100 tapes from delta media last week. when they come in I will let you know if they are worth it.

I live in springfield missouri and national audio company is all right. I've never purchased anything directly from them (which is stupid of me) but I have bought their tapes from thrift stores (bought 125 last week for 18 dollars) and they are fine. I have used their studio master tape and it is also great. I was under the impression that they were closing shop. apparently not!

Hate to resurrect an old thread, but what is the consensus here?
