Body size and shape on an acoustic or hollow body Archtop has a huge influence on the final sound, much more so than on electrics where I find the choice of timber has a bigger effect.

Oh, and I forgot to mention something. All that stuff I wrote up above; that's just how I think of this stuff. Other people use different words to describe the same basic ideas.
