Foriegn Alesis?!?!?!

I just ordered a new Alesis 12R from musicians friend, for only 230$ I coudln't pass it up. It arrived to my doorstep and I ran to the box riped it open, but right before I plug it in I notice it has a huge outlet. The output on this thing is 220 VAC! On the manual it says it shouldbe 120 (so I'm assuming this in a euro model), so I guess I'll be sending this thing back for an American one. I was so ready to start tracking with it too.

Except you could sell it in Europe for twice its US value. You ought to see the prices we have to pay over here

Just put one of those big, honkin' oven plugs on it and use a long extension cord from the kitchen!

Yeah or you could do your tracking in the laundry room if ya got 220 in there... man that is pretty weird. I guess the same place is assembling both versions and got confused.
