This is supposed to be a sonwriters' board and someone is giving John Denver credit(or blame) for writing "Country Roads'? Wasn't it written by Bill & Taffy Danoff?
Just checked at allmusic.com, and you're partially right. Song credits list the writers as Danoff, Denver, Nivert. Didn't dig to see which Danoff is the contributor on this tune.
