That's a good question!
The front doors are modeled after the gates of Italian vineyard.
Throughout the house there is a motif of vineyards, grapes, grape leaves and grapevines, as well as acanthus leafs.
I guess I would say it has Tuscan influences.

You can't see it in that picture, but that barelled ceiling is faux-painted to look like plaster cracking off of bricks, with water stains on the plaster.
