it was me..............just kidding. i don't like taylors, but i would never give somone a negative rep point for them playing one.

probably just some lamer. i wouldn't worry about it.

I'm just sick of absolute total spineless wimps who leave negative rep points here without owning up to it. It's like someone slashing your tires in a mall parking lot. Probably the same people who smash mailboxes in the cover of night or secretly watch their own moms get out of the shower naked and get off on it.

H2H

Don't sweat it,I get negative rep points all the time for no reason at all.
I think I have a negative rep point stalker.

I smashed a couple mailboxes, but I'd never give a negative rep point based on opinion.

i tend to have a stronger affinity to jumpingjacks and bottlerockets in the mailbox.

i would never give someone negative rep points for which guitar they prefer.
i have 2 taylors anyway.

Would someone be kind enough to edumacate me how to set a "rep point"? I looked up "rep point" and "rep power" in the FAQ and got zilch. :o

Click on the little "scales" icon to the far right of the persons name. This opens a new window where you can award a rep point.

Well if some ignorant dickhead is handing out negative rep points for owning a Taylor, do me too, moron. And a good third of the professional acoustic artists in North America. I hearby give you negative rep points for your Lexus, your ugly girlfriend, and your short dick.-Richie

:p :p

I see a lot of Taylors doing live sound. They pretty consistently sound good plugged in, with little or no eq. Most other rigs are pretty hit or miss. They are also very playable. Personally, I don't care for their actual acoustic sound, but plugged in they are a very dependable gigging guitar.

Well Boingoman, I agree that the Taylor is a good stage guitar, depending on the electrics. I use the Fishman stereo blender, and it rocks. Guitars are also made by humans, and they are like fingerprints, all different. There are numerous Taylors that are kickass recording guitars. They are easy on your hands and hold their tune well, both advantages in the studio. The question is- should some dimwit give somebody negative rep points because their Gibson was made in Nashville, instead of Kalamazoo? Is this rep point terrorism? How do i find out where my Les Paul was made. I don't wanna be getting any neg rep points you know. I might have to go trade my Gibson in for one made in the "proper" factory.

I'll give you one back...and I don't like taylors either but hey...maybe you'll reform. ;)

Apparently you've never actually had this happen to you.
It pisses you off much more than a little red dot saying your guitar sucks.

I thank Bob Taylor everyday for making such a nice guitar.
Well, maybe not every day.
Anyway....I gave you a pos rep point. Look at it as kinda a spare tire point. lol
