this is in another thread, only because i accidentally posted it there. sorry about that. well here's a version with a different singer. the sound sounds really bad since it was taken off of a video tape the singer was sending to a friend. anyway, there's two guitarists, bass (i added that afterwards) and singing. me and the other guitarist are sharing back up duties (he fucks up pretty bad toward the end) and i'm doing the lead (and yes i fucked up at the very beginning with the lead) and palm muted guitar in the verses of the song. it's address is www.nowhereradio.com/emopunker/singles. its file name is where has everyone gone2

I'm curious as to the recording chain. What did you use and maybe we can help you out a bit. One, the level is clipping, thats where the crackling is coming from. Two, the mic sounds too far away from the voice, and the guitar..
