I'm not disagreeing with you Baretree... just answering your question about why I think monitors are a subjective "choice" for an individual!!!

Yo Pros & Guys/Gals:
Monitors usually are bought buy ears and $$ considerations.
Not all ears are the same. Not all engineers tweak the same. Not all folks make martinis the same.
But, it sure is fun to learn and test and try and experiment and discuss.
So, as winter approaches, look out of the window for flakes.
