Footswitch to start/stop dp-008

Hi..

I have a DP-008 with 4 sets of songs recorded. I want to use the recorder for bass and keyboard parts during live shows (I play solo and would plug the unit into my sound system).

Is there a footswitch that will allow me to start/stop the unit when I'm ready for accompaniment?

Perhaps I wasn't clear...I want to start/stop playback - not recording - with a footswitch. Can it be done?

to tell you the truth i dont think so..i did was get yourself a boss dr-5 it has drums, bass keyboards and guitar and you can mix your parts like a recorder i got 1 off ebay for $50. its well worth it, man..but i have a foot switch for my dp-008 and i can only use it to turn on record with, man0
