Focusrite Voicemaster Pro

I have a focusrite voicemaster pro. I am using it with the digi 002 mixer console. I'm new to the game so if you could answer my question that would be wonderful. There are 2 outputs on the voicemaster. 1 is an XLR out +4dbu, the other is 1/4 inch out -10dbu. Which output should I run to my digi 002? Also do I run it to the XLR preamps in my Digi002 or the 1/4 in the Digi 002 to bypass those preamps? I appreciate any help.
 
As far as I know, you would want to run the +4dBu output to the line input of your Digi, so you aren't chaining two mic pres together. As far as I can tell from digidesign's website, the line inputs on your unit are designed for nominal operation at +4dBu as well.
