FL studios vocal recording

Hello! I am so glad to have found this awesome forum xD

So listen, I used to record in Audacity (I know it isn't pro but that's why I am here),

I have noticed that the vocals do not sound so well there, so I tried recording with FL studios (where I make the beats and melodies) and the quality is MUCH better.

But there's a problem.. I recorded a verse, (by clicking record, choosing record in playlist) and it all went nice, but when I tried "stacking" the verse, it didn't work..

It looks like Fl studio is just ignoring anything else beside that first verse I record..

I tried recording over it, and it doesn't even appear visually when I'm done..

Am I doing something wrong? Or maybe the configuration's messed up somehow?


And also, is FLS a good program for vocal recording?

personally, i'll say no it is not a good DAW for recording & i'm sure other users are with me on this. i'll suggest you search for another 1 for recording e.g cubase, sonar, pro-tools, reaper (which i use ) just to mention a few. you can try any of them out & take your pick
