FL studio question....chords?

Hey guyz, I know alot of people here use Fruity Loops so maybe one of you knows how to do this.

I am trying to record chords to the step sequencer. The problem is that I seem to only be able to record one note at a time. Is there a setting/function for this, the polyphony is set high and I can play/hear the multiple notes I play, but record only one.

Any thoughts?

Is this even possible with the step sequencer? Do I have to record a performance in a "sample" channel?

Any assistnace would be appreciated. Thanx
 
You cant record chords to the step sequencer, you record them to the piano roll. There should be an option in your MIDI Settings that allows you to select where you want your MIDI data to record to. Hope this helps. If not, manually program your chords in the pianoroll or use FL's integrated chord option in the piano roll as well. Cheers
