Fixing concert audio

Hi.
I taped a concert with a Zoom H4n with concert compression setting on using speakers at 90 degrees. I kept the recording level around 12 during show. I imported the track in FinalCut and the entire signal seems low compared to the audio waveforms of the audio captured by the camcorders. Also in the H4n stereo track the drums are loud and vocals buried a litte. Are there audio tricks in Final Cut to reduce the bass drum and heighten vocals. I've read about reducing 20 Hz and bumping up 3Khz. Anybody have any more tips. Also will increasing gain help?

Can you put up a sample clip Nofromofo?

reduce the lows and raise the mids, best we could guess.

It's extra work, but IMO if you have a DAW is to export the Final Cut audio (OMF maybe?) and bring that + the Zoom in and mix it there. If not, try doubling/tripling the Zoom audio track. I would not add gain if you can help it.
