I used Xound Recorder in XP to make a 60-second clip from a CD. The file's saved as WAV. When I burn it to CD, though, the resulting file doesn't match the saved clip. It's choppy and runs at least a third faster.
 
did you save the wave as 16 bit and 44.1 khz quality?
 
and what did you burn with? windows media player automatically converts it to 16 bit 44.1 when you burn...

Know you're a new, but if you can give us as much information as possible, it will be WAY easier, and quicker for us to help you.

This sounds like an easy anwer, but we need more info.
