First time DIY modding

I recently picked up a pair of those BM-700 chinese super cheap LDC's. I'm thinking about trying my hand at doing some mods as they were cheap enough to ruin without tears. Any tips. advice, web sites where I can find info ?

First thing to do is look at the coupling cap, and if it is ceramic, replace it. After that, you have a lot of options, from simple component swaps to complete circuit redesigns or capsule replacements. Have fun.
