First Song Recorded

Hello, I just started a project called Resonance Structure, and along with my collaborator the dobermans we wrote all words and music to this song and recorded it in our home studio using Sonar Producer Edition.

We would love some feedback on the song and the recording quality!

Welcome to the board. I thought the singer had a nice resonance to her voice. A pitch problem here and there. Not sure you got the best vocal performances. Seemed she was trying to "get a couple of takes done" moreso than really nailing the song.

The vocal doubling was not always tight. I'd put the lead vocal tracks down the center.

The drums were very robotic. Not a huge problem with this type of music.

Synth was OK I suppose.

I think the mix could use a little stronger low end.

I agree with TripleM about it needing more low end.

Not only robotic drums, but the snare sound is very un-snarey. Kick is very boomy. Singer is pitchy in the oh-oh-oh stuff and the ah-ah- stuff after. I don'' find any issue with the doubling except for the pitches not matching.
