Hello all,

I'm hoping for some honest critique of a song we’ve recorded and is currently going through the editing/mixing stage. Here’s the song:

Given the nature of the song and the artist in question (a highly skilled/technical band), replicating the quality and sound of the OG track is always going to be a task. However, we do feel that more can be done to get it as close as possible to the original.

I can't say for sure, but is there some kind of clipping going on? Check your levels and if you need to, put a limiter on there to keep it away from 0. Might be something else, but there is something that doesn't sound right, might be me. It seems like it would be a good mix.
