This was recorded last summer, I was very unexperienced and everything was rushed but I don't think it came out too bad. I just to remix it and tried my best, but some things were recorded bad in the first place, but i still want to hear your opinion. Disregard some of the talent mistakes, they aren't too bad but they are there. The only thing that i know i need to work on is the volume of the vocals and the reverb that was used. But whatever, here it is.

I couldn't figure it all out how to find the page with just the bands stuff, so click by where it says New Songs- No Vision- "You're Nothing Now". Once i figure it out I'll post the new link. http://www.nowhereradio.com/

Good tune. The guitars have a real good tone. Nice and brown but not woofing out. The vocals are good but seem to be right heavy. I'd center them more. Pretty good!

Hey thanks Track Rat, I didn't notice the vocals being to the right....I'll check on that......Josh

Excellent guitar tone, just had to mention that.

Vocals could probably be brought up just a hair.

I like the kick drum sound. Guitar is good too, but it sounds like it uses stereo delay. Am I right? You probably should have recorded one guitar left and one right. Stereo delay rarely works on heavy guitars. My experience with stereo delay is, that it can work on acoustic strumming fine, and on "backing guitars". Overall, pretty good. The vocal should also be more centered.

Cranky one,
Good call, I miced both speaders of the guitar amp (thinking i might save time and get the sound of 2 guitar tracks) and panned them left/right and put a delay on (i think) the right side. The whole process was rushed so we never did a second guitar track.
Thanks for the replies, keep em comming!.........Josh

on the headphones, I'm not really judging the mix,
I'm just thinking that the song comes tough. Great job.

It will be the first thing I listen to when I get back to my room.

What do you mean by the song comes "tough"? Can't wait to hear what you think

mad,

good tune! I liked the drums, guitar, it was heavy, just a really good song.

Nice Job!

It means I love the song. I can hear this on mtv

Listening on my studio speakers, I cant really fault the mix. The voice does need to come up a bit, but the rest is nice.

Great song!

funk on

O ok....thanks. Too bad my band isn't together anymore, cuz I would love to redo our stuff and make it sound even better. O well I just had it lying around and I thought i would do something with it.
