Just finished another rough mix... There is no bass or vocals yet...Tell me what you think...It needs a little work and I dont like the sound of the kick but I think it has potential...

also if you werent too bored by the first one...

Thanks alot guys,

James

It's hard for me to comment on a mix that doesn't have the bass. The most important part of the mix is the bass and drums. You add from there.

What you have is fine. The guitars seem a tad dry for my taste and the kick needs a bit more punch. Both of these are easy fixes with a touch of reverb and compression. Keep it up!

Hurry up and add some bass to your mix!
I think you'll be suprised.

Looking forward to listen your finale mix.

Cool tune so far. Definitely need some bass to really give an opinion, but the groove is great. Good guitar and drums. Nice changes and alot of great ideas in there so far.

Now with bass and vocals...

HERE YOU GO GUYS!

With bass and vocals...

I am feeling sick so these are not the vocals that will make the final cut...but Im just kind of giving you an idea of what it will sound like...

I am having some trouble because I dont have monitors to mix on right now...so I have no idea what this sounds like on decent speakers so help me out!!!

sounds pretty good, the panning hard right on the one guitar I would lessen a little bit. needs just a touch touch more bass in it, but very very nice overall.
I'm nearly unable to offer criticism.
nice tune, too.
cheers

For a rough mix, premastered cut, this is outstanding. It is brash, raw, and unpredictable. I am listening on a crummy pair of headphones at work and it still sounds great. You are far more musically mature than your age would indicate.

Very cool James. I like this tune alot. Good vocals, good back vocals. Great energy. Can't find much I don't like about this. Maybe the "aah's" could come up a bit. I'm not sure about the double bass drum in the break, but that's personal preference. There's nothing wrong with it, it just seems to slightly stumble. Besides that, this is a top notch tune, man.

Thanks alot guys! I'll probably have a few more songs to post in a couple days...
