Nice little piece - well worth developing. The melody in the R is really cool.
I'd lift some bass up on one of the guitars - just a little.
the tambourine is nicely placed.
Good good good.

Thanks rayc...I might whack a bass guitar on there to try and give it some low sounds.

Agree with rayc about needing a little bit in the low/low-mid end but all-in-all, nice job,

If it was you, what would you do to give it that low/ low mid? Would you tweak the existing tracks with a multiband or something, or add a bass guitar or what?

thanks

I'd try EQing 1st - easier & won't effect the internal balance.
Lift some diff mids in the bass on each guitar for a start.

Good to see/hear you back Mr Allen....trust you are fully recovered as you sound in fine stead. The guitar playing is nice and the two rhythm parts meld together well. How are you playing that lead part ? Very Cool !
That mic sounds very nice by the way on the recording........

Hope to hear more from your side of the world now that you are in fine shape!

:) :D :) :D

Thanks fellas...it's been a slow recovery. Tomorrow I go for my last dentist visit so he can attach the final version of my new tooth! My broken hand is still only about 50% recovered, but it's on the way pretty well.

ido1957, would you believe that the lead part is just whistling? I originally had a vocal but scrubbed it out because it's not something I could sing properly, so I thought, stuff it, I'll whistle the lead bit instead of sing. All I did was add reverb, a bit of multiband and a 4x doubler which gave it the weird sound.

edit...I adjusted the eq on the guitar playing the open chords to go for a bit more low end. I don't know if it's successful. I aslo changed the song name to shreek.

:)
