First Finished Project

Hey all,

Just wondering if you would like to give me some feedback on my first(with this system) finished mix. Now before you listen to it, be forwarned, it is of the Beach boys car song genre(Yes, Intentionally) My friend who wrote and sang it is a huge fan, and it was kind of fun to produce.

I recorded it on my PC.. SB Live..Cakewalk home Studio 9. All in all 14 tracks, 5 backing vocals, double tracked lead, 2 rythem guitars, lead guitar, Organ, Bass and drums..

Things that I don know about it are..I flubbed the fade out, has already been fixed .. and the cymbals are kind of sucky, I think Ill put them deeper in the mix next time..(also I dont think the MP3 conversion was too kind on them)

Anyway, opinons welcome...
 
Oh man, the vocals are NAILED...mix is great...this is fun stuff.....gibs
 
I really enjoyed it. All those vocals, and every one on-pitch - I'm envious! And now I feel completely ready for summertime.

I thought the production was good. I might suggest that you see if you can make the drums a little thicker and more prominent, but overall, very nicely done.
 
I see a big commercial deal here in the works with Ford. Very nice work.
 
That must have been a ton of fun to produce! Good job man, everything is pretty much in it's place. Not a big Beach Boys fan, but I'd be lying if I said the song didn't put a smile on my face.
