First drum recording

It’s been a moment. Hope you remember me :)

Been hanging with a drummer friend lately; like me, he’s a Steely Dan superfan, and we enjoy a lot of similar music. I brought my gear over for a quick set-up and I recorded him. This is a very rudimentary setup and mix (I listened to the stems beforehand on my mixing headphones but we ended up mixing on a Bose bookshelf system!!).

2x overheads (SM81)
1x snare top (Shure 545D knockoff)
1x kick (Audix D6 knockoff)

No room treatment. Processed in Harrison Mixbus; tape and a bit of room emulation from IK Multimedia.

Pic attached just to get an idea of set-up... floor tom mic not used in mix, and obviously the snare and hats are not in playable positions lol.

Thoughts?
