Firestudio > Firepod??

I've been just poking around, looking for a new interface. I have the firepod and was wondering what would be a good upgrade. I was thinking about going to the firestudio, but this new tube fire studio looks tempting http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/PreSonus-Firestudio-Tube?sku=243005
If anyone has any valuable advice on an interface they trust/love and have preferably used the firepod in the past as a comparison, please help me out.

I believe the FireStudio is DICEII-based... So, many people will tell you to stick with the Pod or look for something else...

Yeah, the firestudio, as well as it is laid out, and amazingly convenient, is unfortunately DICE-II

If you need more than the Firepod's 8 channels, I'd look at something like a motu 8pre
