I exceeded the disc space on one of my partitions while recording. Tech support said that registry/directory files have been corrupted. So I have to ship it off to roland in order to retrieve the data/fix the machine. I'm looking for a hard case and it appears that I will have to get one custom made because roland dosen't make the VS2480 hard case anymore and I can't find one on Ebay etc. Question is, can anyone recommend a hard case company/size/material....plastic or metal...etc. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. R, Chace

Check out Road Ready. I picked one up for my 1180 for about $130 and it's sweet.

Hi

A good hard case does cost a bit though. If it is only a one-off shipment, is it not worth getting a heaving corrugated cardboard box and packing the item up properly? You know, wrap the machine in bubble wrap. Then place that in the middle of an oversized heavy box filled with poly bubbles or foam. I send expensive stuff around like that all the time for work. Also, Roland recently shipped a machine (BR-1200) to me in just it's "selling" case. Admittedly that box is a bit light. But inside is just foam. I'm about to send a machine across the world using these methods.

Cheers
