Krakit,
You can check your playback stats on nowhere radio by clicking on "artist administration" and then playback stats. It keeps track, by month, of how many unique listens you had, how many times the songs were actually played by those unique listeners. The charts are determined by the number of unique players...i.e. different computers listening to you.
Congrats. You shouldn't feel embarrassed. This is really nice sounding, and we like to listen to it...so you get lots of plays. But, sometimes it's fun to check those stats...you can see which songs people really like best based on the ratio of unique plays to total plays.
I don't think there is a lot of listening in the urban and r/b section, because if 10 people all month listen to my songs...I am at number one. And Toki's got it for the rest of this month, that's for sure! I'm fairly certain other categories would demand more than urban/r&b. LOL. I think our mixing clinic helps to put people at number one more than about anything.
Do many of you just surf around in nowhere, or wait until someone puts something on this chopping block? Just curious.
Sounds Great Krakit,
Kirstin
