Final Mix...Comments?

It's a good pop-song.

The main-vox don't sit well in the mix.. sounds like a reverb-thing.. kinda sounds like they don't belong there..

Good songwriting!!
 
I think I heard this tune before. A lot of Tom Petty similarity comments, if I remember. Nice pop tune, well written, and recorded. the acoustic intro is a little noisy...or maybe the mp3 encoding did it. anyway...nice stuff. how did you get your guitar sounds?
 
great start..."haven't i heard this before?" LOL! the boy was possessed by Tom Petty. all you need is a hand clap in there..the singing is good, i believe what your lyrics are saying...nice background "oh yeah's" i give this track a 7 out of 10 in this genre...the sound feels too distant, i think if it was more up front, it'd allow an easier connection....great job. if you have time, come check me out at

The intro was treated with a plug-in that simulates a record scratching.
Guitars were done on a POD.
The vocals are dry. No processing at all.
I reposted 'cause it's finally finished.
Anyone else?

oh...I'd take that effect off....It sounded like bad recording techniques to me, rather than what you where looking for. Stick a real LP on a turntable and capture the sound between songs, or whatever. I think you'd get a much better result... then you can pull the needle over the whole song to end it, like some crazy home reccors used to do in the past...ya know like the needle got kicked...etc. anywazz...a good remix and a GREAT song.
