Hey hey,

Many of you gave me really helpful feedback a few weeks ago about some my EP tracks.

I've got one final track that I'd like to once again ask for any feedback or advice. This one was by far the most difficult, as it spans a variety of genres and dynamics.
I've written, performed (except drums) and recorded everything here so as you can imagine it was a whole lot of work!

I'd be infinitely grateful for any feedback whatsoever. Its also the longest of my tracks, but there's so many twists and turns it'll (hopefully) keep you listening right up to the big finale.

Thanks so much,

This sounds great to me. I listened on headphones (AKG K240's) and each part was clear and distinct. The vocals sound really good - with a distinct Radiohead influence.

Man, beautiful track. I don't listen to this type of music really, but this is very cool. That splash & clap during the chorus sound way too hokey for this song. I also think it's deserving of a real drummer. Excellent vocals and love when the song picks up. Overall very good. Now where's my drink?

Sounds great to me. You totally have the guy from radiohead thing going on vocally, especially when you hit those higher notes. Well done.

The whole production is beyond me, so I can't say too much, but as a casual listener, I guess I wasn't crazy about the hand claps or the drum sounds. They all fit, just a taste thing I guess. I might have preferred either bigger, more natural drums, or full on weirdness. As it is, the drums just kind of seem stark and plain.

Really good job though! Would you care to explain what the guitar set up was for the fuzz part that comes in @ 2:40? I like that sound.

Thx man, the drums are all real and recorded except for that clap. I wonder what that splash is you are talking about, could you give me a time and ill check..

Thx for the feedback, the guitar sound is a strat through a dunlop hendrix octavia pedal into a tweed deluxe. Simple!

Nevermind, I guess it was the like jingly bell sound.. but on second listen it doesn't bother me, but the clap still does. I like your singing better than the Radiohead guy. Not sure why i thought the drums were fake at first!

Ha he didnt play a bell either so thats a mystery, probably some resonance off the cymbals or something. Ill tell him you thought they were programmed drums, he'll take that as a compliment.

Not my style but I liked it... Beginning was very Beetlesesk and I really was latched in at that point.

Regards,
Kip...
