filtering out amp noise

Highpass Filter - will turn down a 60 cycle buzz
Low Filter - will help filter a high buzz coming from a Guitar amp

High filters cut around 80Hz and below
Low Filter cut around 8-10kHz and higher

So far all the recording I've done has been with an acoustic guitar. I am now ready to venture into recording my electric. Since I play an acoustic 99% of the time, that is where I spend my money on equipment. My electric gear is as follows. Fender Squier Bullet guitar, Peavey Studio Pro 60 amp, and an Ibanez Classic Metal stomp box. The combination of these three things results in rather noticeable hum which shows up in my recordings. Is there a particular frequency that I could use something like a notch filter on the get rid of this buzz.
