I have my self a silver faced fender twin reverb, and was woundering how to tell the age of it.

I know it was made after '72 because it has a master volume knob, and before '80 (as it is a silver faced). But I would like to know the exact year.

You can check the serial number on your amp. Did you surf to the fender website yet?

I can't find any info on the Fender website.
The ampwares.com says;
"Unfortunately, for the older amps, we still are not at the point where we can give any kind of definitive dating scheme."
If you can translate the bar code the give it a go:
B 01349 (I think it's difficult to read)
