I am trying to decide which amp to buy. I play mostly alt-country, classic rock, blues...I'm not interested in high gain, more the crunch factor of these amps. The twin is a 99 model without vibrato, but still 100 watts, the deville is 60 watts into 4 10 inch speakers. Will the twin still be louder than the deville...in my case louder is better. If anyone has any imput on experiences with either of these, or some recordings I could hear...please post away. I've found a steal of a deal on the Twin and Im really leaning towards it...please convince me one way or the other...

Played both, ended up getting one of the new Twin's. Mostly because it sounded better and had the 25% power option which I use alot. They are both LOUD at full power and I don't always need that. The Twin IS louder, but the gain channel on both doesn't sound as good unless you drive it a bit, at least you have the option to saturate the tubes at a lower volume if you need to with the Twin...
