Supercreep Lizard People Dec 28, 2007 #1 Saw a chopped fender twin reverb head on craiglist. Could this be useful for bass guitar?

This is tricky, because you can use almost anything to great effect... but a twin, is not the first amp i'd consider for bass tracks. it could be done, for sure. but remember, the circuitry for the twin, is geared for guitar range. the tone controls, gain, everything, is tailored for guitar. not bass.

D dementedchord Psychotic State alumni ch Dec 28, 2007 #4 should work fine except for the tone controlls being voiced for guitar... and that could be changed with a swapping out a couple of caps... make sure that the cab is closed back and that it is impedence matched to the amp...
