FD4 to FD8

has anyone tried exchanging information between an FD4 and an FD8? Can this be done, specifically on Zip disk? Thanks...

Yes you can. I use my Orb drive between my FD-4 and VF-16 and they share the files seamlessly. It's when you go from the FD-8 to the FD-4 that the 4 will have a problem reading all eight tracks. But, files from the 4 to the 8 is no problem.

That's great news, thanks. Can I also go from the FD-8 to the FD-4 if I only have material on the first 4 tracks?
