I'm looking for a used midi controller 6 octave weighted keys keyboard.

I found 2 ads on a local bulletin board.

One is for the Roland A-33 and the other for the Fatar SL-760.

Both for the same price...

I don;t know the Fatar but the A series are not enought "weighted" to me... I need more of the "piano" feel.

Is the fatar more "heavy" ?

Which of the two should I prefer ?

Hi Gilwe,
I just purchased a Fatar SL-880 Studiologic keyboard. I tried Roland and found no comparison. The Fatar is outstanding. Full-size weighted keys that give a real piano feel to the action. I also own a Kurzweil Mark 150 Digital Grand Piano. The Fatar action is superior to the Kurzweil. The Roland keys were not weighted and were not full-size.

Hope this helps!

I actually read the this keyboard is very much not reliable and tends to have many many problems... But only good reviews about the "feel" and action ...

I generally need a keyboard that is less weighted than a real piano so I can use it for organ and synth patches.
