Nice! I did enjoy that.

There's a slight buzz on the low notes of the intro guitar...like a snare drum hissing in the background...or it's my defective tympani.

Thought you might like to know.

It was a quick and dirty recording. And they had just finished the tunes and hadnt performed them much. Theres timing issues and other things practice would fix. But you have to admit she has a nice voice.

Nice intro - I'd have liked it to segue into the song a bit better though.
Nice voice - she needs to avoid the Toni Child's syndrome though.
Heaps of potential.

What a lovely voice, Mike...:)
Mix-wise, the voice sounds a bit too much above the acoustic. Guitar could use a bit moe definition. Is that natural room reverb? Great song!

Nah, reverb is a plug in. The mix was 3 tracks. Her voice and tambo on one and the Acoustic guitar on two. Done in one take, I just doubled the guitar and delayed it a few ms. They wrote the song (and two others) during one afternoon and had not praticed them much, so the timing has problems. But I do agree the voice is overpowering the acoustic. Especially in the beginning. I corrected it and just have not updated the tune. The recordings were done in about an hour and once they get more material, we will redo this and they others. The acoustic was DI'd and I'll try the mic route. This was a quicky and it shows.
