Fake Asian sm57s

skip the sm57 and get a 545

I would say skip the sm57 unless its a unidyne 3 capsule(older version) and if u can find a 545 on ebay that would be best they simply sound better then a current sm57 I have 4 of them (545) and they are the real deal when shure started making their caps for the mics in mexico they switched from Unidyne III capsule to the current junk . They love to tell you they are the same but they are not
 
ah fuck i just looked at the shure 57 i got off e bay and the r is high up just like said earlyer in the post. so i persume its a fake. allthough it still does sound nice.
 
FWIW....my wife's parents brought back a Shure wireless dual-microphone system back from Vietnam that was made in China, along with a Karaoke player and an amp. The mic setup looks just like the real thing, although the instructions are in Chinese, Vietnamese and English. But even though the system is Chinese made, I can't tell the difference from a a real, American-made Shure wireless dual-mic setup costing six times as much in the US.
 
Also, they dont accept Paypal. They want your credit card details!

I purchased 2 of these sm57's, payed for em, and i'm waiting for them to come down...

If i read this earlier, i wouldve not bought them :(

I sent an email to "jands" earlier, who have been on this topic, and am waiting for their reply.

I'm kicking myself so bad for this lol. The main reason i bought them, is cause i asked him if they came with warranty, and he said yea (2 years), so i thought it would be cool... Thought to myself, maybe he bulked bought em for really cheap, and just selling em etc.

Hrm, what to do...

I'll post some "high Detail" pics up here, for you guys to check out once i get em ... kay?
 
It is comparing so well with high end super expensive so much microphones that the difference barely isn't even noticable! This is so true!
 
i had NO IDEA that a real SM57 has a rotating cap on the end! when i bought mine... i thought it was broken and loose! i ended up tapeing it tight with black electrical tape!

im such a dumb ass!
