Got a great Vintage Altec 1567a all tube preamp that has recently been given a good bill of health by a tech. It is in very good shape and sounds wonderfull.

This is the same model that was used by Matt Wallace on the Maroon 5 album, including vox.

This is the non VU model however a VU can be added easily as it already has the light and mounts.

It has all of the cables connected so you do not have to worry about figuring out how to attach anything, and the cables are of high quality with Neutrik ends. The output is currently a 1/4 inch jack to go straight into your converters. And the inputs consist of 4 XLR jacks, and one 1/4 inch jack to plug in your bass/guitar.

This also has a hgih and low EQ which are very usable.

It has all of the original RCA tubes, as well as the original Peerless transformers. They are ALL there with non missing.

It is fitted with a 3 prong plug, and as mentioned is very very clean.

I really like the sound of this pre however I would like to try some new flavours and would enjoy something smaller.

So let me know what you got. I am mainly interested in high end pres (great river, API, John Hardy, Telefunken etc.) but am also open to other stuff like nice mics and what not.

Things I am most interested in are AKG 451/452's, 500 form factor stuff like purple audio, a-designs, API, and tube pres. If your item is worth more I will consider my pre and cash
