ezdrummer is a midi based tool that comes with a very basic but usable kit included ... the expansion packs are just that... they give you more sample data and midi files... you need ezdrummer to start out then add the packs... in otherwords dont buy the expansion packs and expect it to work alone...

well, there's "drumkit from hell superior" for ez drummer which is exactly what dementedchord said it was. there also used to be drumkit from hell superior-- a drum sample library from the same company (toontrack) and their upcoming "superior drummer" program which basically seems to be a beefed up version of ezdrummer.
