EZ drummer tracks...

Hi guys,
I use EZ drummer, and I set my tracks as such...
Kick -> mono track ---> 1
Snare (top + bottom) -> stereo track ---> 2 (both top and bottom on same track)
Hi-Hats -> mono track ---> 3
Tom 1 -> mono track ---> 4
Tom 2 -> mono track ---> 5
Floor tom -> mono track ---> 6
Overheads -> Stereo track ---> 7
Room -> Mono track ---> 8.
I always send my drum tracks to a drum bus and then send this to a reverb, so should I drop the room mic altogether? and use that track for my snare bottom. Also would 1 track for all my toms be better.
I should probably add that my DAW is sonar x1 producer.
What way do you guys set up EZ drummer when you begin a project or if you have any advice for me on what way to set up at the beginning of a project it would be greatly appreciated...

EZD by default puts teh rack toms on the same channel and that's how I have mine. I split out the top and bottom snare. Quite a while ago, I quit using the room mic, but have recently started using it again. I'll put a reverb on just that one track for my folk-ish/ americana-ish songs. I don't put verb on any other drum. I kind of like that way that works.

There's no set answer - what sounds good for your song, to your ears?
For EZD Pop/Rock I use the same set up you describe, except just the top mic on the snare (is there a bottom in this EZX?) and more times than not I mute the stereo room track - I have heard that its better to use a good reverb instead, and do find more cohesiveness in the mix when I use the same reverb as the other instruments.
I downloaded a few templates from the Reaper forum for the EZD EZXs I have, all preset with individual tracks for each part - no thought needed by me! So when I start a new project, I pick the template and build from there. I may end up not using drums at all for the track (I do quite a few all-acoustic songs), but its an easy way to start.
